Refreshing Lemongrass and Ginger Tea

Don’t know what to do with the lemongrass plant you have? Lemongrass is wonderful in soups, Asian dishes, and chicken recipes. It’s also delightfully refreshing as a tea served hot or cold.

Serves: 1 pitcher
Vegan!

Ingredients
1 pitcher spring water
1 leaf fresh lemongrass
5 slices fresh ginger
honey to taste
optional: fresh mint and/or stevia leaves

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Boil water.
  2. Chop up lemongrass into 2-3" pieces.
  3. Thinly slice ginger root. Some people remove the outer skin. It's ok to leave it on too.
  4. Add all the ingredients to a glass pitcher and stir.
  5. Serve hot or pour over ice and ENJOY! DELISH!
